Ink obliterates the white paper in Into The Blue. Creating solidity, depth and movement by drawing lines is important to my art. A single line plot repeated over and over with a slight movement, a slight reduction in size each time, piled upon each other. Creating what? Perhaps it’s a doorway to another place. Maybe a splash of water, visual evidence of an undiscovered sea creature springing out of the ocean, up into the blue, and plunging back down into the depths, never to be seen again. (sold)
