“Celestial Queen” serial drawing gallery. This drawing series has a spiraling effect with each successive drawing in the series having a smaller and smaller aperture at the center.
My “serial drawings”… a series of serials really… present every permutation allowed by my drawing apparatus within a set of given parameters. Each series is a sort of family of drawings. Individuals yes, but with shared characteristics that present in various permutations.
“Celestial Queen” drawings are black ink, 20 x 20 inch paper (50.8 x 50.8 cm), actual drawing area measure about 15.5 inches in diameter (40 cm).
