“Pink Illusion” is a 23-inch diameter drawing on 28 x 28 inch Strathmore 500 100% cotton bristol board. Drawn with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens in Black M F & S and Middle Purple Pink. It has 80 line plots, 16 in black, 64 in the pink. Each line plot has 9 loops at the outer edge, that means I circled-around a total of 720 times to make this drawing. The old saying “history repeats itself” takes on a new meaning in my drawings.

This large drawing is loosely based on the 1:4 scale study drawing shown below. It has a similar feel but the larger drawings always come out looking different.
