Recently added to the gallery menu is Ink Blot Drawings.
These ink blot drawing/paintings begins with a base line drawing; formal, repetitive organic curves and loops. The technical formality of the line drawing is altered and contrasted by the freeform, seemingly spontaneous ink blot pattern overlay in acrylic and metallic paints and inks.
A fold line runs down the center where the mirror image figure effect is created. A few have a perpendicular fold as some have a double ink blot painting overlay.
