Geometric and organic in symbiosis.
Here’s a look at my newest series of ink blot mixed media abstracts. In this series a geometric figure underlies an organic symmetrical figure. The geometric being a very planned line drawing, the ink blot a free-form happenstance occurrence.
The dark and the bright…
The mediums used form an additional layer of contrast in these artworks. The dark background figure drawn in Faber-Castell Pitt Indian ink artist pen. And the bright mirror image figure executed in Golden Iridescent Gold Fine fluid acrylic and Daler-Rowney Fluorescent Red acrylic ink (a color that’s impossible to photograph well).
