Same drawing, different ballpoint pens

These three drawings were done with my 32 gear inside of my 63 gear. Each drawing is composed of the same 20 hypotrochoid patterns. They are identical except for the ball-point pen used to draw each one. Drawings measure approximately 10 inches in diameter, they are done on 17×14 Strathmore 500 Bristol board.

Pens used were:
Schneider 775 Fine ballpoint ink which is the lightest, with finer detail showing;

Zebra Surari 1.0 mm ballpoint emulsion ink which left ink hazing all over the drawing as the ink doesn’t dry as fast;

and a Dong-A Anyball 1.4 mm ballpoint pen which is the darkest, least detailed drawing as the pen point is thickest.
