“Spirit”, pencil, color pencil, ink and a bit of paper collage.

I’m trying out a new paper, Japanese Kozo rice paper. These drawings have a much softer look than most of my others. This paper comes on 60 foot rolls— I am excited about the possibility of a very, very, very, long drawing in my future!

11 x 14 inches (28 x 35.5 cm) on Kozo rice paper, Derwent graphite pencil, Sanford Ebony Extra Smooth Black pencil, Prismacolor Verithin Rouge Pavot pencil, Pigma Micron black ink, and paper collage circles.
